The venue: The “Maison des Arts et des Étudiants” (House of Arts and Students) of the "Cité des Sciences, in Esch sur Alzette, is a true urban landmark. The large multi-purpose hall which hosts conferences, but also concerts, exhibitions and other socio-cultural events, is the main feature of this building: an almost cubic volume with a side length of 25 metres, which is emphasised by the rectangular geometry of the ”Maison du Nombre” (House of Numbers) and by the horizontal construction volume of the “Maison du Savoir” (House of Knowledge).
